Tour Highlights
Kiss the Blarney Stone
Climb the winding staircase of one of Ireland's most famous castles and lean back to kiss the legendary Stone of Eloquence. Whether you believe in the gift of gab or not, the views from the battlements are worth every step. Wander the lush gardens and ancient yew trees that surround this 600-year-old fortress.
Stand Atop the Cliffs of Moher
Nothing quite prepares you for the moment these towering sandstone cliffs come into view — 700 feet of sheer rock face plunging straight into the churning Atlantic below. Walk the clifftop path, feel the ocean wind, and take in panoramic views that stretch to the Aran Islands on a clear day. It's Ireland at its most dramatic.
Drive the Ring of Kerry
Ireland's most famous scenic route winds 100 miles along the wild Kerry coastline — past rocky shores, emerald fields dotted with sheep, mountain passes, and tiny colorful villages. Stop at Moll's Gap for sweeping views of Ireland's highest peaks, stroll through the charming village of Sneem, and visit Valentia Island for the Skellig Experience.
Feast at a Medieval Castle Banquet
Step back in time for an evening you won't forget. Dine on traditional Irish fare inside the stone walls of an authentic medieval castle while lords and ladies serenade you with harp music and ballads. It's part theatre, part feast, and entirely unforgettable — a quintessential Irish experience.
Traditional Music at the Merry Ploughboy Pub
Your first evening in Dublin sets the tone for the entire trip. Head to the Merry Ploughboy Pub for a dinner of Irish specialties and a lively show of traditional music and high-energy step-dancing. Run by one of Dublin's longest-performing Irish music groups, it's the kind of night that makes you fall in love with Ireland before you've even left the capital.
Skellig Experience & Sheepdog Demonstration
Visit the Skellig Experience on Valentia Island and learn the remarkable story of Skellig Michael — a remote island monastery and Star Wars filming location rising from the Atlantic. Then watch skilled border collies herd their flock across the Irish hillside in a live sheepdog demonstration that's equal parts impressive and endearing.
Your 5-Day Itinerary
Also available as a 6-day or 7-day tour. Call Barry Devo at 330-583-4454 (ET) for details.
Depart your hotel at 2:00 PM for a panoramic drive through Dublin with a local guide — Trinity College, elegant Georgian townhouses, and modern buildings rising along the River Liffey. Visit the Little Museum of Dublin, a charming townhouse museum that tells the story of modern Dublin through eclectic artifacts donated by the public. Return for a welcome drink with your group, then head to the Merry Ploughboy Pub for a dinner of Irish specialties and a lively show of traditional music and step-dancing.
Travel through lush green countryside toward Blarney Castle. Along the way, stop for photos of the stately ruins of the Rock of Cashel on their hilltop perch. At Blarney, climb the winding staircase to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone and gain the gift of the gab, or wander the beautiful castle gardens. Arrive in the friendly, lakeside town of Killarney for dinner at your hotel.
Embark on the famed Ring of Kerry scenic drive — 100 winding miles of breathtaking coastal and mountain views with plenty of photo stops along the way. Pause for a casual lunch in a cozy restaurant. Continue to Valentia Island to visit the Skellig Experience, a visitor centre telling the story of Skellig Michael — a remote island monastery and Star Wars filming location. Stroll through the colorful village of Sneem, stop at Moll's Gap for panoramic mountain views, and watch a live sheepdog demonstration at a local farm. Free evening in Killarney.
Ferry across the River Shannon, then drive along the coast of County Clare to the Cliffs of Moher — a spectacular wall of sandstone soaring nearly 700 feet above the Atlantic. Walk the clifftop path and take in the views. Continue to your hotel. In the evening, step back in time for a medieval-style feast inside an authentic Irish castle — traditional fare, harp music, and ballads from lords and ladies of old.
Your tour ends after breakfast. Depart from Shannon at your leisure, or ask Barry about extending your stay to explore more of Ireland's west coast.

What Our Travelers Say
See Why Travelers Love Prepco
This is a long overdue
This is a long overdue thank you for an extraordinarily well planned trip. We had such a good time, and the places and venues visited were wonderful. Our hotel on the Severn River in Worcester was superb. We really enjoyed our stay.
One outstanding feature of the trip was not a garden or castle, but was the little booklet of day to day activities and flight information. What a lifesaver that was for us!!!! That was a brilliant stroke of genius on your part—it’s obvious that you have dealt with travelers before.
We would definitely recommend your services, and please keep us in the loop with your future excursions.
Oh, one last point to make to you. We simply adore the Isle of Jersey, it was a true highlight of the trip and we are envious of those who get to live there.
Chris Jay and Margie
would study maps and websites pondering how to put a trip together, not sure of where to start — focus on lodging or plane reservations first? Or maybe timed admission tickets to ancient Roman sites in Bath, and build from there? But then I found Prepco Travel and Barry Devo.
With just a few emails and phone conversations he worked out a two-week “trip of a lifetime” that took me to my primary interest, gardens and landscapes of Cornwall, with seaside lodging and salt air. Flying into and out of Heathrow, with travel by train and car service, my custom itinerary took me to an inn in the Cotswolds then south to Bath, Stonehenge, with a final stop in Kent. He understood the transportation, distances and travel time required and put it together like a beautifully crafted puzzle.
I came home relaxed and renewed, without the package tour exhaustion, and most importantly, with wonderful memories of seaside villages and landscapes, celebrated gardens, historic sites, and cuckoo song at ancient churches. If you have questions about the logistics of this trip, get in touch with Barry and have him pass your name and contact info along to me.
