Your 8-Day Irish Adventure
Also available as a 9-day tour. Call Barry Devo at 330-583-4454 (ET) for details & pricing.
Depart your hotel at 2:00 PM for a panoramic tour of Dublin — elegant 18th-century Georgian houses with brightly painted doors, tranquil parks, and historic O'Connell Street. Visit Teeling Whiskey Distillery in the heart of the Liberties for a tour and tasting. Enjoy a welcome drink with your group at the hotel, then you're free to explore the city and dine as you wish.
Drive through the delightful scenery of the Wicklow Mountains to Glendalough — one of Ireland's most important monastic sites, founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. Walk through the deep valley to view the picturesque ruins of a round tower, churches, and Celtic crosses. Continue southeast to the Dunbrody Famine Ship, an authentic reproduction of an 1840s vessel that carried desperate Irish emigrants to the New World. Arrive in Waterford for a guided stroll through this historic city before dinner at your hotel.
See skilled artisans create crystal masterpieces at the House of Waterford Crystal. Travel to the harbor town of Cobh for a guided walking tour — this was the last port of call for the Titanic in 1912 and the main point of embarkation for Irish emigrants between 1848 and 1960. Visit Blarney Castle and kiss the famous Stone of Eloquence or explore the tranquil gardens. Journey west through rugged countryside to dinner at your hotel in beautiful County Kerry.
Discover Ireland's most popular scenic drive — the Ring of Kerry. In the beautiful Gap of Dunloe, browse for keepsakes at Moriarty's. Along the way, stop for lunch, stroll around the colorful village of Sneem, and take in the panoramic views at Moll's Gap. Enjoy a free evening in Killarney, with time for dining independently and perhaps a visit to one of the town's lively pubs.
Take a ferry across the River Shannon and travel along the scenic coast of County Clare to the Cliffs of Moher — stunning formations soaring 700 feet above the churning Atlantic and extending for nine miles. Walk atop the cliffs for spectacular views. Continue through the austere beauty of the Burren, a distinctive limestone landscape formed by glaciers, to Galway. Enjoy a panoramic tour of this vibrant, artistic city before a little free time to stroll the medieval streets. Dine at your hotel this evening.
Immerse yourself in traditional farm life during a visit to an authentic working farm, where you'll watch trained dogs round up mountain sheep. Continue through the rugged mountainous landscape to Donegal for free time, then travel to Derry. Walk with a local guide through this ancient walled city, long known for its tumultuous history but now a thriving artistic hub. Dine at your hotel this evening.
Explore the northern coastline and the Giant's Causeway — enormous hexagonal basalt columns formed by volcanic activity more than 60 million years ago. Visit Titanic Belfast and learn about the ill-fated ship through state-of-the-art displays. See the docks where the famous liner was built just over a century ago. Cap the evening at the Glyde Inn in Annagassan for a farewell dinner of Irish specialties and entertainment featuring traditional Irish music and songs.
Your tour ends after breakfast. Depart Dublin at your leisure, or ask Barry about extending your stay to explore more of the city on your own.

What Our Travelers Say
See Why Travelers Love Prepco
This is a long overdue
This is a long overdue thank you for an extraordinarily well planned trip. We had such a good time, and the places and venues visited were wonderful. Our hotel on the Severn River in Worcester was superb. We really enjoyed our stay.
One outstanding feature of the trip was not a garden or castle, but was the little booklet of day to day activities and flight information. What a lifesaver that was for us!!!! That was a brilliant stroke of genius on your part—it’s obvious that you have dealt with travelers before.
We would definitely recommend your services, and please keep us in the loop with your future excursions.
Oh, one last point to make to you. We simply adore the Isle of Jersey, it was a true highlight of the trip and we are envious of those who get to live there.
Chris Jay and Margie
would study maps and websites pondering how to put a trip together, not sure of where to start — focus on lodging or plane reservations first? Or maybe timed admission tickets to ancient Roman sites in Bath, and build from there? But then I found Prepco Travel and Barry Devo.
With just a few emails and phone conversations he worked out a two-week “trip of a lifetime” that took me to my primary interest, gardens and landscapes of Cornwall, with seaside lodging and salt air. Flying into and out of Heathrow, with travel by train and car service, my custom itinerary took me to an inn in the Cotswolds then south to Bath, Stonehenge, with a final stop in Kent. He understood the transportation, distances and travel time required and put it together like a beautifully crafted puzzle.
I came home relaxed and renewed, without the package tour exhaustion, and most importantly, with wonderful memories of seaside villages and landscapes, celebrated gardens, historic sites, and cuckoo song at ancient churches. If you have questions about the logistics of this trip, get in touch with Barry and have him pass your name and contact info along to me.
