Best time to visit:

Although some of the islands can be busy, the best time to visit is in the high season which runs from November through to mid-April. Great for an early winter or spring vacation.

The summers can reach temperatures of around 95 deg.F with high rain fall

The hurricane season is from July through to October

Driving:

Driving a car is on the left side of the road with speed limits of 20MPH in built up areas and 45MPH out of town. You may need to apply for a driving permit so check it out if you wish to drive. Just remember the two best rules:

  1. When driving on the left – THINK LEFT and LOOK RIGHT FIRST
  2. Never turn on a red stop light

Drinking Alcohol

You must be 18 years of age to drink alcohol

Rum Cay

Long Island
